Ballet Theatre of Maryland presents Sleeping Beauty. Our very own Social & Style Editor, Becca Newell performs with bandmates as Fox Twin Trilogy on the Eastern Shore. Heartbeat for Health is a free Health Expo in Severna Park. This week’s What’s Up? for Grabs giveaway is a pair of tickets to see guitar gods Dean Rosenthal and Mike McHenry perform at The Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge.

What's Up? wants to spoil you with a well-deserved night that is all about you. This event is the perfect ladies' night out, a lovely way to unwind from the long work week, and a stylish way to start achieving your desired "look" for the spring season. Enjoy three solid hours of being pampered with spa treatments, getting your hair, makeup, and nails done right on the spot, listening to professional speakers, engaging in conversation with the experts, and shopping your heart out with our retail vendors. There will also be complimentary champagne and snacks for attendees.

A Night of Pampering You Deserve
Yes, it is about time you let someone else do the pampering. This event will offer quality and complimentary services, treatments, shopping, and fun activities (including raffle giveaways) from our vendors all night long. Avalon nails will be doing polish changes, get your makeup done by Chesapeake Beach Salon and Spa, Just Browzing Wax Bar will be providing brow makeovers/waxing, Perilla Wellness will be offering acupuncture services, lip print readings by Lip Messages, and much more! Our retail vendors will be providing the trendiest fashion, accessories/jewelry, skin care and beauty products. Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen & Wine Bar, Loews Annapolis Hotel, and 4 Seasons Grille will be serving complimentary healthy snacks throughout the night. Complimentary champagne will also be provided. You’re invited to a memorable holiday family fun event! What’s Up? Media presents our Easter Tea on Saturday, March 26th at the Loews Annapolis Hotel.

Celebrate the season with a light lunch and performance from Ballet Theatre of Maryland. Get photos with the Easter Bunny by a professional photographer and enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt. When an enchanted kingdom and the most fair princess in the land fall prey to the ultimate mistress of evil, the fate of all rests in the hands of a small band of fairies and the courage of a young prince. Their quest is fraught with peril as this spirited group must battle the evil witch and a fire-breathing dragon if they are to set the Sleeping Beauty and her kingdom free.

Fox Twin Trilogy Concert

Friday, February 19th, 7 p.m.
Fox Twin Trilogy brightens any stage with its folksy, pop-infused music and bevy of cute instruments, such as ukuleles, glockenspiels, and kalimbas. It’s not always about the instruments though; the group also performs songs a cappella, focusing on sweet three-part harmonies. The show is free and features What’s Up? Heartbeat for Health

Sunday, February 20th, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
is an informative and fun-filled event at Severna Park Community Center. Participate in exercise and dance demonstrations, take part in free health screenings and sample healthy snacks. This event has something for the entire family. Bring your friends and family to dance, learn simple ways to stay healthy and get motivated to make positive changes in your health.

Dean Rosenthal’s 4 Piece Racket plays American Roots music the right way. Mike McHenry Tribe plays soulful, sexy, psychedelic, funky rock music.
