For the first time ever, Pantone released a fusion of two hues for its Color of the Year—Rose Quartz, a warming soft pink, and Serenity, a calming pale blue. The duo offers a balanced, refreshing combination when done right (read: sparingly), particularly when embraced through cosmetics—think a blush lip paired with shimmer and matte shades of cerulean eyeshadow. The result, we found, is less ’80s and more pastel perfection.
