Paula Broll

Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School, Easton

Years teaching at SSPP: 33

Currently teaching: 6th grade Language Arts and Religion

Proudest teaching moment: “I love when a student who is struggling with a concept, finally gets it and they feel a sense of pride in themselves and their accomplishment. I also love when my former students come back to our school and I see the many wonderful things they have accomplished with their lives.”

Teaching philosophy: “My teaching philosophy is to create an environment where my students can feel safe, comfortable, and respected. Within this space, they can learn and strive to be the best they can be.”

Toughest challenge facing educators: “The constantly changing world of technology. The students are usually so much more tech savvy than adults. We, as teachers, need to continue to learn and step out of our comfort zone in order to take advantage of and utilize all the technological advancements to enhance and enrich learning.”

Mind, Body, and Spirit embody Paula Broll. Paula has been a parishioner, alum, parent, and teacher at Saints Peter & Paul for years. She has taught grade 6 at SSPP for 34 years! Paula has not only worked diligently and consciously at the school to develop not only the academic side but also the spiritual and athletic side of our students. She coached the Middle School Field Hockey and Basketball teams for 12 years; was Student Council Advisor for many years; and has chaired or volunteered for many activities in the school and parish.” —Connie Webster, Elementary Principal
