South Moon Hosts Local Girl’s Night

South Moon Under was recently purchased by an investment group (JPB) earlier this year, so in light of celebrating their relocation of their corporate office to Annapolis, new Chief Creative Officer, Patricia Smith, hosted its first local girl’s night out. Ladies enjoyed specialty sips and sweets as they shopped the new fall/winter collection.


The Park Salon & Barber Grand Opening

On Tuesday, November 15th, The Park Salon & Barber  pened its doors in Severna Park during a ribbon cutting ceremony with Owner Scott Palmer and the Severna Park Chamber of Commerce. When it comes to hair care and grooming, quality service and experience are paramount, no matter your gender.

Merging a salon and barbershop, The Park brings together a community of knowledgeable and passionate hair stylists and master-barbers, all under one roof. Palmer brings 15+ years of experience as a hairstylist with a vision to combine both salon and barber cultures under one roof.


Deborah Goode Selected as Top Five Home Stagers for 2016

Deborah Goode was selected as one of the Top Five Home Stagers for 2016, from the Home Staging & ReDesign Association (HRSA) during their annual summit meeting on Saturday, November 5th in Dallas, Texas. Approximately 150 home stagers and redesigners from across the country participated in the meeting. HSRA provides training, direction and continued support to home stagers and redesigners in the industry. 


Ginger Cove Appoints New Admin and Awarded Five-Year Re-Accreditation

Ginger Cove, the continuing care retirement community located on Gingerville Creek in Annapolis, has appointed Phyllis Johns-Smith, of Annapolis, as the Administrator at Ginger Cove. Most recently, she served as Ginger Cove’s Director of Apartment Support Program and Director of Assisted Living.

Ginger Cove also achieved a five-year re-accreditation from CARF International. Accreditation is based on adherence to a rigorous set of standards in all areas of operation and finance.


Brion Harris Wins Advisor Leadership Award for Second Year

This year’s theme at the Summit Brokerage National Conference in Boca Raton, Florida, was “People, Purpose, Passion,” which included a timely tribute to the Olympic Games.

At the Conference awards dinner, held September 9th, Brion Harris from Premier Planning Group received the Advisor Leadership Award for the second year in a row. The award, which has been given for the last 14 years, goes to the advisor with the top gross dealer concession (GDC). Harris was presented The Summit Cup, a three-foot tall silver-plated trophy, which will travel to his office and remain there until next year’s conference.
