Derby Day – Maryland Therapeutic Riding

Join Maryland Therapeutic Riding for a night of Horses, Healing and Hope as we raise funds for life-changing equine-based therapy for children and adults with special needs. Maryland Therapeutic Riding’s award-winning programs drastically improve the lives of those who have physical, developmental or emotional challenges. This unique event includes Live & Silent Auctions, Open Bar, Rider Demonstration, Live Showing of the Kentucky Derby, Hat Contest, Hors d'oeuvres, Dinner, Coffee & Dessert, and of course, Signature Mint Juleps!

Six Pillars Century 2018 Blackwater Tour – Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, Cambridge

Cycle the scenic back roads of picturesque Blackwater Wildlife Refuge in Dorchester County during the 10th annual Six Pillars Century Blackwater Tour fundraiser. Participants have a choice of three flat routes including 37 miles, 56-mile Ironman Eagleman course, or the 100-mile century course that takes you through quaint townships along the Chesapeake Bay and back through serene woodlands. Begin your day at Great Marsh Park for a complementary al fresco breakfast on the shores of the scenic Choptank River. Registration is required and proceeds will benefit Character Counts Mid Shore, Inc.
Salisbury Kidney Walk – Winter Park Place, Salisbury

Step up to raise awareness of kidney disease, organ donation and the importance of early screening and healthy lifestyle. Join the National Kidney Foundation for this inspiring community fundraiser. Second Annual Tipple and Toast Benefit Evening

The Friends of the Rising Sun Inn will host an evening of food and fun as they raise money to support the ongoing preservation projects at the pre-Revolutionary Rising Sun Inn. The evening includes hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner, cash wine bar, the Annapolis Town Crier, historical interpreters from Colonial Tours of Annapolis and SPAM time, and performances by harpist Jan Holland and the Annapolis Chorale’s Women’s Ensemble, Cantori. The dress is informal and the benefit will include a charity auction, wine and spoon pulls, and a raffle.

2018 Race for Hope DC – Freedom Plaza, Washington, D.C.

The Race for Hope-DC, a 5K course in the nation's capital, is a fun and inspiring way to join forces in the fight against brain tumors by raising funds for research. It is one of the largest fundraisers in the country benefiting the brain tumor community and the proceeds support the National Brain Tumor Society and ABC² (Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure). Through generous gifts from individuals and company sponsorships, the Race for Hope - DC has raised over $29 million in its history. Cinco De Miler – Terrapin Adventure Park, Stevensville

Join Charm City Run at their Cinco de Miler five-mile trail race. The race will benefit ShoreRivers, a local nonprofit dedicated to protecting and restoring Eastern Shore waterways. The top three overall male and female as well as age group awards will be given. After you finish your scenic run, you’ll enjoy a post-race celebration sponsored by The Jetty Restaurant & Dock.
