Sixth Annual Dog Days of Summer Cruise – Annapolis City Dock

Thursday, July 19th, 6–7:30 p.m.

To benefit the SPCA of Anne Arundel County! Bring your four-legged friends for a cruise with the SPCA and Watermark's crew. This event will include food donated by Graul's Market, music, a silent auction, cash bar, and refreshments for Fido.

42nd Street – St. John’s College

Thursday, July 19th through Sunday, July 22nd, 7:30 p.m.

The Talent Machine Company presents 42nd Street.  One of show business’s most classic and beloved tales, 42nd Street tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, a talented young performer with stars in her eyes who gets her big break on Broadway. 42nd Street is full of crowd-pleasing tap dances, popular musical theatre standards, and show-stopping ensemble production numbers.

Eastport Oyster Boys – Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts

Friday, July 20th, 7 p.m.

Enjoy live music at Maryland Hall’s free summer concert series. This week, The Eastport Oyster Boys take the stage for a rollicking concert of classic favorites. Wine and beer will be for sale and free popcorn courtesy of our sponsor will be provided for all who want it.

Kent County Fair

The Kent County Fair is back! The fair is a family-friendly event with delicious food, 4-H and community exhibits, animals, games, rides, and lots of great entertainment. The focus of the fair is agricultural education and providing educational opportunities for county youth. 

Heart of the Chesapeake Bike Tour – The Dorchester YMCA, Cambridge

Saturday, July 21st, 7 a.m.

The Dorchester Family YMCA hosts the 5th Annual Heart of the Chesapeake Bike Tour. Riders have the option to participate in the 66-mile metric century, the 52-mile half century, the 32-mile ragged point ride, or the 9-mile family ride. 

Tilghman Island Seafood Festival – Tilghman Volunteer Fire Company

Saturday, July 21st, 11 a.m. 

Join Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Company for their annual summer seafood festival. The festival will be held at the fire department and adjacent Kronsburg Park. Enjoy steamed crabs, clams, steamed shrimp, barbecue chicken, hot dogs, corn on the cob, beer and sodas, and much more. The event features live music, craft vendors, nautical artisans, an indoor flea market, and plenty of games and activities for kids to enjoy. All proceeds benefit the Tilghman Volunteer Fire Department. 

Plein Air Easton Art Festival and Competition – Town of Easton

Now through July 22nd

Plein Air Easton is the largest and most prestigious juried plein air painting competition in the United States. Approximately 6,000-8,000 people participate in the week-long festival. Artists from all over the US and beyond apply to this competition and those who are selected paint throughout Talbot County during the Festival week. Highlights include the Festival’s Quick Draw Competition and demonstrations, workshops, exhibits and lectures for all ages.

Artscape – Station North Arts and Entertainment District, Baltimore

Enjoy a celebration of the arts at the 37th annual Artscape. Attracting more than 350,00 festival goers each year, Artscape features over 150 vendors and craftspeople, live concerts on three outdoor stages, numerous visual art exhibits, and a variety of local food and beverages. New this year, the opening day of Artscape will showcase the creative and artistic talent of the Baltimore-area youth.

Joe Boyd sells his soul to the devil, Mr. Applegate, for "one good Long ball hitter" for his team, the Washington Senators. Mr. Applegate grants his wish, turning him into a 22-year-old sports superstar who can must go back to his wife before 9 pm on the final game day if he doesn't want Mr. Applegate to get his soul.
