Midnight Madness Eleventh Hour – Downtown Annapolis

Thursday, December 20th, 6 p.m.

Downtown Annapolis Partnership proudly presents Midnight Madness, the annual holiday tradition. West Street, Main Street, Maryland Avenue, Market Space, Randall Street, and Dock Street will be filled with carolers, musicians, dancers, and performers to make your holiday shopping experience uniquely Annapolis. Enjoy the company of family and friends as you shop in the winter wonderland of holiday decorations, lights, and garland. Don’t forget to snap a photo in Snowflake Alley or in front of the Christmas tree!


Ugly Sweater Run – Armadillo’s 

Thursday, December 20th, 6:30 p.m. 

Break out your best holiday garb and join Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis for a festive Ugly Sweater Run! Enjoy a 3-mile run through downtown Annapolis with views of the Christmas tree at City Dock and holiday light displays. All fitness levels welcome.


A Broadway Holiday – Annapolis Shakespeare Company

Thursday, December 20th & Sunday, December 23rd, 7:30 p.m.

A holiday confection of Broadway showstoppers on ASC's Main Stage featuring Christine Asero, Sally Boyett, Ian Charles, Joe Rossi, and special guests accompanied by a live orchestra. There are only four performances, so reserve your tickets now!


Sounds of the Season – Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts

Thursday, December 20th, 7:30–9:30 p.m.

Presented by Maryland Hall, Phyllis "Tee" Adams & Keith A. Rowel. Enjoy an evening of holiday jazz music featuring Billboard charting violinist Chelsey Green and the Green Project and local legendary jazz saxophonist Art Sherrod Jr. with singer/songwriter Lolita Chambers Lamkin. 


Illuminated London Town – Historic London Town and Gardens

Friday, December 21st and Saturday, December 22nd, 6–9 p.m.

Experience the magic of a winter evening at Illuminated London Town! Sip hot cider and roast s'mores beside roaring fires in the Historic Area. Explore the gardens, illuminated with festive holiday lights. Discover colonial nighttime and holidays at a candlelit William Brown House, decorated for the season.


The Talent Machine Presents Holiday Cheer 2018 – St. John’s College

Thursday, December 20th through Sunday, December 23rd, 7:30 p.m.

Join The Talent Machine Company as they celebrate Holiday Cheer 2018! This high energy production will feature the holiday classics that we have grown to love and enjoy. Traditional holiday favorites will be performed, as well as some new, exciting numbers that will delight audiences of all ages. 


Messiah – St. Anne's Church

Saturday, December 22nd, 8 p.m.

There’s no better place than downtown Annapolis to share a holiday tradition with family and friends. J. Ernest Green conducts the Chorale’s Chamber Chorus and the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra in a very special performance of Handel’s Messiah at historic St. Anne’s Church in Church Circle. This performance will feature Part 1 with selections from Parts 2 and 3 along with carols and music for the season.


Eastern Shore

Annie the Musical – Avalon Theatre, Easton

The Avalon Foundation presents a heart-warming rendition of the classic musical, Annie. All ticket proceeds go toward the Foundation’s year-round mission to provide diversified arts and educational programs that improve the quality of life on the Eastern Shore.
