2019 is officially here, and Maryland music lovers get to look forward to another great year of live music. Kick off the new year by enjoying a concert at one of the many awesome local venues. Friday, January 4th and Saturday, January 5th, 8:30 p.m.
Bruce In The USA is much more than just another tribute. This high-energy musical experience is a note-perfect and visually accurate re-creation of a Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band show. Matt Ryan, from the world-famous Legends In Concert cast, began playing the Springsteen character in 2000 in Legends’ full scale Las Vegas show. The great success brought him performances across the world, eventually evolving his character into the Bruce In The USA show.
Saturday, January 5th, 3–4 p.m.
Explore the five types of lighthouses on the Bay, including a special pictorial glimpse inside the National Historic Landmark Thomas Point Lighthouse. Kids will have the opportunity to craft their own lighthouse to take home.
Saturday, January 5th, 6–9 p.m.
Join award-winning, international musicians Elissa Edwards, soprano, and Anastasia Pike, harpist, for their annual Twelfth Night concert in the glittering 18th-century ballroom of the Hammond-Harwood House Museum in Annapolis. This festive concert will celebrate Christmas traditions from America to Amsterdam, and will be sure to brighten the season with historical flair.

Stewart Huff’s knack for embracing the foibles of humanity and his refreshing originality make him as likeable as he is hilarious. A storyteller at heart, Huff continues to amaze with his clever material and personal wit.
Saturday, January 5th, 8 a.m.
Plan for a flat, two-mile outing for approximately two hours through areas of Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge that are usually closed to the public. The walk will be led by a local birding expert or naturalist and will conclude with cocoa and cookies at Refuge Headquarters. Bring binoculars and a camera. Wear boots and dress warmly.

Following the success of his highly anticipated album Man of the Woods and his Pepsi Super Bowl LII Halftime Show performance, Justin Timberlake announced a second leg to his North American tour. The 10-time Grammy Award-winning artist will bring The Man of the Woods Tour to Capital One Arena.

Join The Maryland Black Bears during their home game against the Northeast Generals for "Guns and Hoses Night," a hockey night dedicated to the Anne Arundel County Police and Fire Department. The trio will partner up to raise money for the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, which benefits the Police Department’s Youth Activity Program and the Fire Department’s Community CPR Training.
