On Saturday, June 15th, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation hosted its annual fun-filled evening on the water's edge featuring live music by Misspent Youth, and mouth-watering grilled fare from Boatyard Bar & Grill.
For the past 30 years, Richard Wade lent his directorial skills to the Annapolis theater scene, frequenting the top of play bills for the Colonial Players, the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre, and the Annapolis Opera among others. Shortly after moving to Annapolis in the late 1960s, Wade joined an adult acting group and directed his first play in 1970. He describes his extensive journey as a director and gives insight into what will (hopefully) attract young and future theatre-lovers to join in on the fun.

Doctors in the adult and pediatric emergency departments (ED) at Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) see several cases every week for heat-related illness in July and August. During a heat wave, the AAMC ED sees several patients each day suffering heat-related health problems.
Real Fire to Expand The recently opened Real Fire Brazilian Grill is already planning an expansion. The restaurant is preparing for the opening of their Brazilian bar. The restaurant opened in March in the vacant space on Mitchell’s Chance Road.
