Stoked Wood Fire Eatery to Open in Downtown Cambridge Chef Patrick Fanning of the High Spot is slated to open a new restaurant in downtown Cambridge. Stoked is a wood-fire pizza grill that also serves pastas, beer and wine. The restaurant will be located in the old home of the Main Street Gallery. The opening date has yet to be announced but may be some time in March or early April.

Westfield Mall to Add Second Food Court The Westfield Annapolis Mall will open a new $2.5 million food court this spring, adding more dining options to the mall.

Annapolis Beer Week is Coming The first annual Annapolis Beer Week is taking over Annapolis by storm. A celebration of high quality craft beers, Beer Week will be held in April with events taking place at a variety of locations. The event culminates with the 2nd Annual Maryland Drafts and Laughs, a celebration featuring craft and imported beers paired with some of the region’s best comedians.

Talbot County Restaurant Week Announced The dates for Talbot County Restaurant Week have been set. From March 17 to March 23, food lovers can indulge in tasty meals throughout all of Talbot County for a bargain price. The week kicks off with the “Celebrate Talbot - Sample, Sip and Savor” event at the Oaks Waterfront Inn. more than 20 restaurants are participating in a tasting. The event will culminate with the “Great Gatsby Epoch” party on March 23. The event will serve as a fundraiser for three local food banks.

Bistro St. Michaels To Open Bistro St. Michaels, a popular Talbot County restaurant that closed in the summer of 2012, will be opening under new ownership. Robert A.W. Pascal, owner and manager of St. Michaels Harbour Inn, has purchased the restaurant and plans to reopen in early 2013. Early plans call for lunch and dinner service, focusing on French and Italian specialities that utilize local, sustainable products.
