Hospice Cup XXVIII takes place September 26 on the Chesapeake Bay and Severn River. The popular charity regatta benefits hospices in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. and concludes with a shore party on the waterfront grounds of Atria Manresa in Annapolis. Twenty four juried artists from across the nation will paint the town
Paint Annapolis 2009 kicks off September 16 with an artist Q&A at Maryland Hall of the Creative Arts. Then on the 17th–19th, the twenty four painters will take to the streets of Annapolis, palette in hand and easel upright, to paint scenes in plein air (in the open). Vintage automobiles on display in St. Michaels at 3rd annual Concourse d’Elegance
Fifty of the finest automobiles from “The Golden Age of Motoring” (1900–1942) are on display at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels on September 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula. The event spans September 25–27, though general admission is open only on the Sunday. Tickets cost $50 for general admission, $100 for VIP.
