  Collected by Cameron Adams

The holidays provide us with the opportunity to acknowledge the many blessings of family, friends, and community, and to spread good will and wishes for the New Year. Our Eastern Shore neighbors share with us their holiday wishes--we hope they help you get in the spirit.

"What is your wish for the holidays?"

Ted Cutler, Tilghman Island: "More programs for the disadvantaged kids."

Lew Dodd, Sudlersville: "I wish that more people would be able to eat healthier."

Lanny Parks, Chestertown: "Since it's the season for brotherhood, I would wish for peace."

Joan Conner, Chestertown: "If we all had more patience and understanding we would learn to love and have time for the good things in life."

Jim Villwock, Chester: "A wish for good tidings and peace for everyone."

Bob Parks, Cambridge: "I always did believe in Santa Claus. I'm almost 69 years old, so I wish to retire before Christmas."
