Dr. Anson “Tuck” Hines: Crabs, Old Bay & Beer

Join us for the 2017 season, which will feature a series of talks on wildlife of the Chesapeake Bay Region. Dr. Anson “Tuck” Hines, Director of the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center on the Rhode River, is a world-renowned expert on Chesapeake Blue Crabs. We all love to feast on them, and have probably caught them, but what else do we know about this iconic Bay critter? Come to this presentation and learn about the fascinating life history of our “Jimmies” and “Sooks”.
