7th Annual Kent Island/Annapolis Dog Walk and Fun Run

America’s VetDogs, a national New York-based non-profit that provides specially trained guide and service dogs free of charge to disabled veterans and first responders, is excited to host its Seventh Annual Kent Island/Annapolis Run, Dog Walk and Fun Run. The event will take place at Kent Island High School Sunday, April 23rd, with on-site event registration at 7:30 a.m. Take part in a timed 10K or 5K race, a leisurely 2-mile family-friendly dog walk, or a 1-mile fun run. The opening program begins at 8:30 a.m. Event guests of honor include Army Command Sergeant Major Gretchen Evans, who received a hearing dog from the VetDogs program, and Charlie - NBC’s TODAY ‘puppy with a purpose’. Registration prices vary and all proceeds will benefit the VetDogs service dog programs.
