Annapolis Irish Festival
Feel the luck of the Irish at the seventh annual Annapolis Irish Festival Friday, June 2nd, 4 p.m. and Saturday, June 3rd, 11 a.m. at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. Friday night will salute our military and first responders, who will be admitted for free along with a guest and valid I.D. The fun continues on Saturday with the ever-popular free Little Leprechaun land from 11 a.m.– 4 p.m., including face painting, bouncy castles, pony rides, and tons of activities for the wee ones. Also on Saturday, the Irish festival will host a national Massed Piped band competition with dozens of pipe and drum corps in full Celtic regalia. Transport yourself to Ireland with a cold glass of Guinness, enjoy over 70 vendors, and the best Celtic entertainment. This year’s music line up will make your heart beat faster and turn your hair green! Tickets are $15 on Friday and $25 on Saturday with kids 12 and under free. Portions of the proceeds benefits Bello Machre and other local community non-profits.
