Longwood Gardens Meadow Bus Trip

The 86-acre Meadow Garden invites guests to discover and be inspired by the beauty of a multifaceted and harmonized meadow ecosystem expressive of nature’s variety and maintained through careful stewardship over time. Join a program led by Longwood Land Steward Tom Brightman, then explore the meadow, gardens, conservatory, and more on your own. Tom will share how the stewardship of the Meadow Garden uses best practices in environmental stewardship while amplifying horticultural excellence. Special care was taken to preserve and improve the quality of all its environmental resources—its ecosystems, biodiversity, water, soil, air, and human connections. The bus departs from Aurora Park Drive in Easton at 8 a.m. and from the Route 50 westbound/Route 404 Park and Ride at 8:20 a.m. An additional stop at the 301/291 Park and Ride for Chestertown-area participants will be added upon request. The bus will depart for home at 5 p.m. Feel free to pack a snack to eat on the bus.
