Homemade Pizza Made Easy (Adults) Guest Chef: David Ludwig Friday September 22nd, 6:30PM-8:30PM Chef David Ludwig began his career making pizza on the Jersey Shore while still in high school. After attending the Academy of Culinary Arts, he spent four years apprenticing at La Patisserie, a French bakery in Cape May. He spent the next five years in various baking positions, including pastry cook at the Trellis Restaurant in Williamsburg, VA, and as the executive pastry chef for the College of William and Mary’s catering department. Chef Ludwig then accepted a position at the prestigious Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA where he honed his pastry skills for many years. Currently, he is a full time instructor at Anne Arundel Community College, where he teaches pastry arts, food science and a variety of continuing education courses. Chef Ludwig is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef, a Certified Hospitality Educator and a member of and Approved Certification Evaluator for the American Culinary Federation. Learn the secrets of making delicious pizza at home. Understand the principles of making a proper pizza dough, sample both classic Italian as well as new world flavor combinations, and learn to convert your home oven to simulate that wonderful brick oven texture we all love. From crazy toppings and Chicago style to Gluten free and dessert pizzas, you will love the selection, and be inspired to make your next pizza party a roaring success. On the Menu: New York, Chicago, Sicilian, Gluten Free, and Brownie Dessert Pizza Cost: $35. Per person. Register online. REFUND POLICY: A full refund can be issued if requested AT LEAST 48-HOURS prior to class. Under no circumstances will a transfer of funds or refund be issued without 48-hours’ notice; no exceptions. However, we will accept a name transfer if you would like to fill your slot for the class with a friend, family member or colleague.
