A unique way to explore the Bay Hundred area of Talbot County is the Tri Tilghman, held on Saturday, September 16th, 8 a.m. at the Phillips Warf Environmental Center. This activity begins with a three–mile kayak course that starts at the Knapp's Narrows Drawbridge, through the Narrows into Harris Creek, and back to the start. After that, you’ll hop on your bicycle and complete an 8.2 scenic bike ride. Then cap off the event with a 3.1-mile (5k) run through the small village of Tilghman's Island. You have the choice of participating in the entire event or to compete in any of the three challenges separately. There will be plenty of post-race activities for you and your family along with an opportunity to explore this little-known gem of the Eastern Shore!
