Ironman Maryland 2017

As a full Ironman triathlon, Ironman Maryland is considered one of the most grueling and difficult one-day sporting events in the world. Held on Saturday, October 7th, 7 a.m. the triathletes will swim 2.4 miles in the waters of the Choptank, cycle 112 miles through Dorchester County (including parts of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge), and then run 26.2 miles, totaling 140.6 miles without a break.

General registration is $780 and there is no admission fee for spectators.

The 2017 Ironman Maryland offers 40 qualifying slots for the 2018 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
