Anne Arundel County Emergency Preparedness Expo 2017

Want a little adventure or a Saturday lunch? Mark your calendar now! The 2017 Anne Arundel County Emergency Preparedness Expo will be held at Marley Station Mall on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie on Saturday, September 23rd. Bring the whole family and join your neighbors in an exciting opportunity to better prepare for unexpected emergencies! Over twenty public safety and public service organizations will fill the front parking lot adjacent to Route 2 with lots of hands-on displays, live demonstrations, and information booths. Watch our fire department free an accident victim from a car, crawl into a helicopter, meet search dogs and their handlers, see an airport crash truck, explore an armored SWAT vehicle, ask the experts and collect free giveaways as you visit the displays. As you have fun you will be better preparing yourself and your family to cope with disaster. A part of National Preparedness Month, the event is sponsored by the Anne Arundel Office of Emergency Management and Marley Station Mall. There will be plenty of action for the kids and family, as well as lunch vendors available at nominal cost. The Preparedness Expo is FREE and open to the public.
