Washington Performing Arts presents: Verona Quartet

Winners of the 2015 Concert Artist Guild Competition and fresh off a two-year stint as the Graduate Resident String Quartet at the Juilliard School, these musicians may be young, but they play with a clarity and conviction well beyond their years. True to its name, an homage to Shakespeare’s affinity for setting many of his monumental works in a certain Italian city, the Verona Quartet pays tribute to its classical roots with a modern sensibility.
