Beyond the Line, Colored Pencil Released - Artist Reception

The Metro-Washington Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America will hold a juried exhibit in the Willow Gallery at Quiet Waters Park. The Colored Pencil Society of America is a national non-profit organization founded in 1990 exclusively dedicated to artists working in colored pencil. Colored pencil will be used in a variety of ways throughout the exhibit such as varying pressure on the pencil and overlapping the colors to achieve the desired effect in creating a still life, portraiture, or landscape. The juror for this exhibit is Patrice Drago. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, February 18th, 1:30–3:30 p.m.
