THE MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940 February 9 - 24, 2018 By John Bishop Directed by Jane Wingard Produced by Victoria Rose Brown Assistant Directed by Steve Mangum When the creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop assemble for a backer’s audition for a new musical on a suburban estate, things turn deadly with plenty of confusing murders and knotty plots to unravel in John Bishop’s comedic thriller. This ingenious and wildly comic romp spoofs the great murder mystery movies of the 1940s, leaving the audience to wonder, whodunit? Wingard Properties: Joanne Wilson Light & Sound Design: Garrett R. Hyde 2nd Star Productions will be presenting the comedy at the Bowie Playhouse at Whitemarsh Park from February 9-24, 2018. Performances will be as follows: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 3 pm, with the closing performance on Saturday, February 24th at 3 pm. TICKETS: General Admission: $22 Seniors (60+), Active Military, and Full-Time Students: $19 Children age 11 and under: $12 *Discounts available for prepaid groups!
