ARTiculate Where Words Fail, Music and Art Speak Baltimore, MD: Surround your senses with creativity! Art, music, poetry, and food combine to provide a full sensory experience that is sure to delight. This is a free, all ages event presented by Artists Compound & XS, located at 1307 N Charles St, Baltimore, Maryland 21201, on Thursday March 22, 2018 from 7pm-10pm. Come experience the illustrative and expressive artwork presented by masterminds Aldo Scattolon, Clifford Spicer, Sara Smigle, Tracy Stevens & Awura-Adzua. We will have DJ B-Side bringing the best in neo-soul, trip-hop, and chill house, as well as an open mic focusing on literary arts hosted by Trai Chic & Dwane Jackson. There will be a happy hour and a special drink, “hART & soul”, made with dewars, sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur, blood orange, ginger ale, and a squeeze of fresh lemon, during the reception. All the art is available for purchase during the event. Clifford Spicer - Graphic artist compelled to create by such great artists such as Andy Warhol, Kaws, and Takashi Murakami. Smiggart - Channeling the vibrations of the universe, Sara Smigle uses her multifaceted skills to share the world through her view. Stray Ink - Drawn to capture the surrounding world in all its glory, artist Tracy Stevens uses photography to manipulate her art using digital tools painting tools to transform reality into fanciful renditions.
