Team CASA for Children at the 2018 Baltimore Running Festival

Maryland CASA is participating in the Baltimore Running Festival to raise awareness and funds for abused and neglected children.

Run, walk or fly for Team CASA at the 2018 Baltimore Running Festival on Saturday, October 20th at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor where you can be a superhero for children who've been abused or neglected. You choose what kind of superhero you will be: register for a race, donate to kids, fundraise for the cause, or do all 3! Races to choose from include the 5K ($40),Half Marathon ($100), Marathon ($110), Team Relay ($260/group of 4), or Balti-MORON-a-thon (combo of 5K & Half Marathon, $140). Join the team and receive: • Access to the Team CASA tent on race day for breakfast, lunch, drinks, prizes and fun! • A safe place to store your belongings while you run • A Team CASA performance race shirt • The experience and satisfaction of running with a purpose! CASA speaks up for children who’ve been abused or neglected by volunteering as advocates for them in the court system. Today in Maryland, there are roughly 5,000 children who have been removed from their homes and placed into foster care. Maryland CASA supports 21 local CASA programs by providing training and technical assistance to program staff, board, and volunteers, as well as increasing public awareness of CASA and assisting with program development. For more information about Maryland CASA or signing up for a race, visit or call 410-828-6761.
