Alba is a cooking instructor and personal chef specializing in southern Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Her recipes are rustic, simple and vibrant in taste.
The Feast of 7 fishes (Festa dei Sette Pesci), originated in Southern Italy and is celebrated on Christmas Eve every year. A typical seven-fish menu varies from family to family, or region to region. It typically consists of seven different fish and seafood dishes. In this class our menu is: Leek Chickpea Vellutata with Crusty Shrimp, Crostini Tuna and Cannellini Beans, Mussels in Gorgonzola and Cream, Salmon Torta, Roasted Cod with Tomato Caper White wine, Seared Scallops with Fresh Herb Dressing, and Fish of Season in Potato and Almond Crust. Cost: $80. Per Person. Register online. REFUND POLICY: A full refund can be issued if requested AT LEAST 1 week prior to class. Under no circumstances will a transfer of funds or refund be issued without 1 week notice; no exceptions. However, we will accept a name transfer if you would like to fill your slot for the class with a friend, family member or colleague.
