First Annual Bo's Effort Golf Tournament
Breaking the Stigma of Mental Illness Through Awareness
Event tags: Bo's Effort, NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Health
Bo's Effort seeks to assemble community resources to break the stigma of mental illness through education and guidance. We look to fund initiatives that offer awareness to families and individuals seeking to manage their illnesses and live healthy and productive lives. Event proceeds to benefit Anne Arundel Medical Center and the Annapolis chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Bo's Effort was founded in 2015, by John, Jill, Katie and Johnny DePaola, in honor of their son and brother Bo DePaola, who passed away on May 23, 2015. Help them in their mission to honoring Bo's memory and furthering their cause by participating in their inaugural Bo's Effort Golf Tournament on the first anniversary of Bo's passing.
