Summer Solstice Concert
Come celebrate the Summer Solstice with the acclaimed Celtic folk-rock fusion band OCEAN Quartet in concert. Called "nothing short of spellbinding by the Washington Post," the band has played sold-out shows at major music festivals and on storied stages including The Kennedy Center. OCEAN is "known for their electrifying stage presence, innovative arrangements, and the ability to move from ethereal to high-energy in a heartbeat." The group is powered by the soaring vocals of Lisa Moscatiello and the creative genius of composer/arranger Jennifer Cutting, with Andrew Dodds on violin and Steve Winick on vocals. Opening will be the Eastern Shore's own Chris Noyes, with her own soaring vocals and folk tunes. This evening of innovative music will be enjoyable and appealing to all ages. Treat someone to a special Father's Day surprise -- for the dad or grandfather who has everything, an evening together enjoying world music would be the perfect gift! The Summer Solstice concert is on Sunday, June 19, at 5:00pm, at a great venue in Cambridge -- 447 Race Street. Tickets are $20 for limited table seating, $15 general admission, and $10 for students.
