It feels like we've been waiting for this forever.

Miss Shirley's officially opened its doors at Park Place in Annapolis. I had a chance to visit a couple weeks ago and try out some of the breakfast food, and I'm confident in saying that it is a welcome addition to the Annapolis restaurant scene. For more information, check out this presser I just received:

NOTES: Miss Shirleyʼs Café features Southern-inspired fare with a Maryland twist and as been recognized by Food Network Magazineʼs “Best Breakfast Dish in Maryland,” as well as voted “Best Breakfast,” “Best Brunch,” “Best Lunch” and “Best Restaurant for Visitors” in Baltimore Magazineʼs Readersʼ Poll.

Miss Shirleyʼs Café first opened in Roland Park in 2005 and was created in loving memory of Miss Shirley McDowell, a longtime cook at The Classic Catering People (Dopkinʼs family-owned catering company).

The late Miss Shirleyʼs classic recipes, including Meatloaf, Texas Brisket and Salmon Cakes, inspired Corporate Executive Chef Brigitte Bledsoe to create a menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch menu offerings that satisfy stomach and soul.
