Rams Head Promotions announced today the date and location of the 2012 Silopanna Music Festival. Presented by 103.1 WRNR, the Silopanna Music Festival will be held Saturday, August 11th at Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville, Maryland.

The complete line up for the 2012 Silopanna Music Festival will be announced on Monday, June 11th. “The lineup is set and we are excited about our headliners.” says booking agent Mark Mangold. “I think the first thing people will notice immediately is that we continue to raise the bar on the level of our headliners. Last year we had great live acts scheduled to play that music heads were stoked about. This year we have great acts that are more well-known to the public and will generate a different, higher level of excitement.”

Last year’s Silopanna Music Festival was cancelled due to Hurricane Irene. The line up included Sharon Jones, The Dap-Kings, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Matt and Kim, Fitz and The Tantrums, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, All Mighty Senators, Grilled Lincolns, Harper Blynn and many more.
