Beachy Keen
Beach blast benefits Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
It’s fast becoming one of Annapolis’ most anticipated charity events. Bands in the Sand will celebrate and benefit the collective efforts of the CBF in a Bay-side beach party at the Phillip Merrill Environmental Center on June 13th. Frolick in the sand to live music, eat delicious food, enjoy tropical drinks, and be merry. For tickets and information visit CBF.org.
It’s a Classic
21st annual festival displays antique watercraft.
Remember the high-speed boat chase in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade? How cool were those old boats?! Those particular boats won’t be on display, but Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s 21st annual Antique and Classic Boat Festival includes over 100 classic boats in the largest event of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic. The festival runs June 19th–21st at the St. Michaels located museum. Call 410-745-2916 or visit Cbmm.org for more information.
